We save tanks
Sager Tanksanierung stands for professional cleaning, derusting and sealing of fuel tanks.
No mass processing, no empty promises and no guesswork. Every tank is inspected individually and treated with the right process.
Craftsmanship, experience and honest assessment
Tanksanierung Sager specialises in restoring fuel tanks. We clean, derust, phosphate and seal tanks for motorcycles, classic vehicles, scooters, mopeds, workshops and special projects.
The work does not start with chemicals. It starts with an honest assessment: Is the tank still worth restoring? Is sealing necessary? Does an old internal coating have to be removed first? These are exactly the questions we clarify before starting the job.
Our goal is not to accept every job at any cost. Our goal is a clean, durable result and a customer who knows exactly where they stand.
Why we do not simply coat tanks
Proper tank restoration is more than pouring coating into a tank. Preparation, cleaning, derusting, drying and correct material assessment are what decide the final result.
Inspect first, then decide
Not every tank automatically needs sealing. Some tanks are already sensibly protected after cleaning, derusting and phosphating. Others need a new internal coating. We explain openly what makes sense.
Old coatings must be taken seriously
If an old internal coating is already present, it needs to be checked carefully. Loose, blistered or poorly adhering coatings must not simply be coated over. Otherwise, the next failure is only a matter of time.
The condition determines the workload
Rust, resin deposits, fuel residues, old coatings and special tank shapes can significantly affect the amount of work required. That is why we work with guide prices and agree any additional work in advance.
Clear communication
You do not get fairy tales and you do not get surprise charges. If a tank requires more work than expected, this is discussed beforehand. Fairness is part of our craft.
What we pay attention to with every tank
In the end, it is not about how good a website sounds. What matters is whether the tank is clean, dry, professionally treated and ready to be used again.
Quality
We work with high quality products from Tankdoc and pay close attention to clean preparation, proper processing and sufficient drying time.
Honesty
If a tank is problematic, we say so. If sealing does not make sense, we say that too. It may be uncomfortable in the moment, but it is the better way in the long run.
Experience
Every tank is different. Shape, age, rust pattern, old coating and material condition determine the right procedure.
Tanks for people who care about their vehicle
Our customers come from different areas. What they have in common is simple: the tank should not just be somehow fixed. It should be done properly.
Motorcycle owners
For classic motorcycles, youngtimers, custom bikes and rare tanks that cannot simply be replaced.
Classic vehicle owners
For vehicles where original parts should be preserved and a clean tank is essential for reliable operation.
Workshops
For businesses that want to offer their customers a reliable solution without handling tank chemicals and drying times themselves.
Special projects
For scooters, mopeds, tractors, small tanks and unusual shapes where an individual assessment is necessary.
The best way to get started
The better the information at the beginning, the more realistically we can estimate the workload.
